The Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded this morning (Wednesday), to businessman and tourism expert Aharon Amsalem, on behalf of the Association of Hotels and Tourism and the Association of Chambers of Commerce, as part of a conference held at Expo Tel Aviv in the presence of Attorney Uriel Lin, President of the Association of Chambers of Commerce, senior ministers in the Israeli government , Minister of the Negev and Galilee Development and Minister of Agriculture Oded Forer, Minister Nir Barkat, Tzachi Hanegbi, CEOs of government ministries and executives of the hotel and tourism industry.
Amsalem (born and resident of Tiberias), one of the pioneers of the tourism industry in Israel, received the award for his contribution and work in the development of the tourism industry in Israel and for the growth of the business sector in Israel.
